Back to school?

Do you remember those days, where you used to go to school? Oh yes, how beautiful were they? Beautiful ?? Question which only an individual can answer. 

As a kid you would have aspired to buy every other thing you found on the street you walked, didn't you?  I indeed did.   Then you would have wished that you were earning! This empowers you to buy at your will. 

During one of the discussion with schools mates, I just realized that going to office was kind of going to school for few. May not be the case for all.

  

Picking a few, you would always go with clothes Ironed; it was supposedly one of the important things while you headed to school, along with polished shoes.  We all had few things to be done in class and few things in home, called as class work & home work.  Here all the types of work are done.

Then coming to leaves, we used to take a leave request written by parents to teacher, here you’re supposed to write down a mail to manager requesting for the same.  We would have different releases/ quarterly target which are something like that of internals/test which used to happen regularly in school.  Similarly a score card is released. 

Like those parents teachers (PTA) meetings in school, we have meetings with manager.

The yearly and midyear reviews are nothing but those midterm and final exams, where the promotion to next class/grade are decide. :)

There used to be nail leader in class, times you had to bribe, if you had missed cutting it over the weekend. But now you would cut them religiously weekly/bi-weekly, else it gets difficult to work on the computer! (We are in the world, which is computerized)

But schooling is necessary to go to office.  In school you pay money to gain knowledge/Learn things, but here you’re paid and made to learn.

  

So are we back to school? Aren’t we?! Not exactly though.!
