Journey of its kind.

In this blog, I, an young working bachelor have shared the feelings of my first visit to home after posting.
When I came to Pune, Dasara was fast approaching.  The integral part of our festivals is associated with preparation of sweets and saviors, all ten days. As eating is one of my passions, sweets fascinate me the most. A friend of mine did go home for this festival, as it was one of the biggest one in his village. Not being at home during festivals seriously hurts, as on that day you would get some great food to eat and would have few visitors to chit chat and complete day of rest.  But the day was partially made up as we visited
Rajadani for the Royal lunch.
As I was still over the fact that I missed Dasara, Heard frnds saying ticket madidya ? In candid tone, asked for what?!, they asked aren’t going home  for Diwali :P !
Its only then I realized that tickets are to be booked in prior for such big festivals as they are sold out the moment its up for sale.
Site to book tickets are loaded (IRCTC!), train didn’t have option for booking as the waiting list had exceeded the limit, it was almost a similar situation for the bus journey as well, and with only few tickets being available for booking, after few hassles, completed the booking for visit to home.
A kid always looks at calendar for its birthday; same was the case with me, daily looking at calendar to see how many days are left.
The entire journey was supposed to be around 15 hours, with bus coming half an hour late, the wait for emotional journey had extended.  I thought, if they say 15 hours, it would be with some grace, but it didn’t turn out to be so.
The person next to me was a first time traveler to Bangalore, also a young working bachelor, who was part of India's First amazing SUV i.e. Mahindra X500 ( my opinion), sharing his experience of staying away from house and other usual chit chat u have during a journey made it more memorable.
After a short nap, I woke up to sun rays hitting me moderately through the tinted glass to see bus still going, but didn’t know where it was, until it stopped at Kamat. After restless travel I had still not bothered to check which was that place! Tho it had hardly been a month since I had moved out, the taste of Idly sambar was bliss, ordered for few more cups of sambar to drink.
With few butterflies in stomach, the final leg of journey begun, with Huduguru movie playing in the tv and checking out google maps to see how far I am from the stop of my very long journey.  Having told few of the frnds that will be heading home for festival, all the plans for meet up were happening, the journey never seemed to be ending even after 12 hours. As the bus reached the outskirts around, there was a strange feeling looming over and around my head over my reaction after seeing people in home and what should be done and what can be done, there was complete restlessness over last 1 & half hour of the journey. Thought I had done many activities day in out, it seems very nostalgic to walk through the lane to my sweet home.
At end, reached home at lunch time, I was super excited to see my parents after a month or so, it felt like decades and with tears in my eyes, could sense their happiness after seeing me. Those experiences were something which everyone is not lucky enough to have in their lives.
